At court: For those who are at the court, there is a large selection of brochures from a broad range of services available at the Kiosk.

Legal Services Commission of SA: Family Advocacy and Support Service – Duty Lawyer Service and Social Support Service

The Legal Services Commission of SA operates a Family Advocacy and Support Service (FASS).

It is located at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and provides duty lawyer and social support services to people with family law matters who have been affected by family violence.

The FASS lawyers are also able to assist in matters where the person is not affected by family violence but needs on-the-spot assistance with a current proceeding.  Social support workers (including a family social worker, a men’s worker, and a mental health worker) can help people to engage with family law processes safely and can help with safety planning.
