A lawyer-assisted Family Dispute Resolution service (called ‘Family Law Conferences’) is available for families who are separating, where at least one party is eligible for a grant of legal aid.
Conferences are generally held via ‘shuttle’ by an independent Chairperson who has a background in family law.
Conferences can also be held on line or by telephone.

There is a contribution to legal aid.
One party must be eligible for legal aid
You can apply for Legal Aid online or through a lawyer who is on the Legal Aid Panel
