Family Law and Child Support Service
Uniting Communities Law Centre
We assist clients with family law matters, including:
- divorce;
- property settlement;
- parenting orders or parenting plans;
- child support. We have a specialist child support service which can assist clients with their child support issues, including issues of:
- parentage;
- care disputes; departure applications;
- change of assessment applications;
- child support owed; and
- child support arrears.

Clients who qualify for our services pay no fees.
We have 2 programs for family law program, that is:
* eligibility under our family law violence program centres on the client's vulnerability; and
* our family law "missing middle" program, where clients must not be otherwise eligible for a grant of legal aid through the Legal Services Commission and must reside within the Adelaide CBD, Adelaide eastern suburbs or the Adelaide Hills up to and including Mt Barker.
A child support program is state based. Clients simply need to reside in South Australia to access our child support service.
