Out Of The Shadows: A group for women survivors of domestic and family violence

- Have you experienced abuse in a relationships?
- Are you wanting to connect with other women who have similar experiences?
The group is open to women who are still living with or who have left their partners (even many years ago), but who are still dealing with the traumas of the domestic and family violence.
There are a number of guest speakers who attend who provide information to assist women and their children, which includes financial counsellors, legal services available, police assistance and support services.
The group, which is held of a Friday morning, runs during the school term and is held each week for the 9 weeks of each term.
There is a creche available.

As indicated above this group is for women survivors of domestic and family violence.
When interested women make contact, the organisers will contact them to discuss the intake and registration processes and answer any questions about the content and structure of the group.
